Accounts Assistant


Location: Near St Neots

Salary: £24,000 – £27,000 (DOE)

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent


We’re currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join a friendly and established finance team based near St Neots. This is a full-time, on-site role ideal for someone with Sage 50 experience and a keen eye for detail.


Responsibilities:

  • Customer invoice processing in Sage 50
  • Liaising with both suppliers and internal departments
  • Supporting the Financial Controller with ad hoc admin and reporting
  • Purchase order creation and updates
  • Processing delivery notes and manual stock entries
  • Creating works orders and handling Q.C. report exports

Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience in a similar accounts/finance position
  • Working knowledge of Sage 50
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • A proactive team player with the ability to multitask

Desirable:

  • Prior purchasing experience is advantageous

Other:

  • Due to the location, a full UK driving licence and own vehicle are required
